(This week the meeting is for Q&A, there are no pre-planned topics)
- Massimiliano: reuse has improved with several PRs merged in the last few days (in particular if you pull Spack from today, or use the upcoming 0.22.0 release in May)
- https://github.com/spack/spack/pull/43539: Allow reusing specs built with compilers not in config (in particular if the upstream specs were built with a different compiler)
- https://github.com/spack/spack/pull/43190: libc runtime (auto-add libc as external among other fixes)
-

- So Spack is more willing to reuse packages across different Linux OSes
- https://github.com/spack/spack/pull/43272 (more technical)
- https://github.com/spack/spack/pull/43787 (use libc from current Python)
- This should improve hit-rate for both user-created build caches and those provided by Spack
- More high-level notes here
