  • develop is now the default branch for Spack on github, and shows up on the main page.

    • This shows all the activity and contributors much more clearly
    • allows faster updates to the public-facing README.md
    • Makes develop the default PR branch (no more accidental PR's to master)
    • develop is the default clone branch (no more having to tell people to use develop)
    • master essentially a release branch and is not the focus, per git flow
  • Spack has a logo!

    • Shows a DAG -- Meant to represent a package installed in two configurations, one with an additional dependency.
  • Spack Cray implementation is progressing with LLNL/NERSC meetings.

  • Kitware continuing to work on ParaView port.
