Attendees

  • Peter Scheibel (host)
  • Davide DelVento
  • Brian Van Essen
  • Tammy Dahlgren
  • Prentice Bisbal
  • Massimiliano Culpo

Agenda

(This week the meeting is for Q&A, there are no pre-planned topics)

  • Davide: when is the next release?
    • May
  • Prentice:
    • Working on an env with different compilers
    • But for a list of specs, want to consistently rebuild them all with one of the compilers
    • Peter: issue for this at https://github.com/spack/spack/issues/43475
    • Prentice: created https://github.com/spack/spack/issues/43350
    • Prentice: is there a way to learn more about the concretization decision making process?
      • If you update to the new commit (referenced in #43350) this should output an error message
      • Generally though, it's hard to learn about the decision making process of the SAT solver (so e.g. enabling debugging messages is unlikely to yield additional insight)
