Srinath: example of using blt and +rocm?

Srinath: usage of Spack on Mac OS
- Seems to be starting bootstrapping downloads and failing (20 minutes of downloads or so and then an installation failure, repeats)
- (will create an issue on github)
Stuart: rhel7 ppc-64bit build of qt/qmake
- No qmake in /usr/bin
- qmake-qt5 and qmake-qt4 do exist there
- spack config blame packages
Sean: installing Python with Spack (with py-setuptools etc.)
- And in a separate instance, using that as an external
- Trying to build py-cython in that instance
  - Fails to find pip (cannot import module)
  - py-pip is not listed as a direct build dependency of py-cython
