  • (Andrew Elble) Spack now uses -isystem instead of -I when it detects that the underlying build system is using -isystem (this ensures that Spack -I options don't take precedence over build-system-provided options): https://github.com/spack/spack/pull/16077
  • (Todd) Spack Autotools package handles setting of FORCE_UNSAFE_CONFIGURE, so remove related logic in packages that inherit from AutotoolsPackage: https://github.com/spack/spack/pull/16145
  • (Todd) On Mac OS, prefer DYLD_FALLBACK_LIBRARY_PATH instead of DYLD_LIBRARY_PATH. RPATHs are still used so this is primarily used to help builtin Mac OS software find its dependencies: https://github.com/spack/spack/pull/16094
