• There were questions about documentation of the PR. That documentation is in #989

1. Newarch/Cray update (Greg, Mario)

• Working on backwards compatibility, anticipating merge Friday
• The PR is #561 if you want to check it out before it goes into develop
• Hashes will change, but as with the cflags this will not break old installs

1. Binary Caching (Patrick Gartung)

• Waiting on @hegner to merge some changes into the PR, then it should be ready to remove WIP flag.
