Material Characteristics Fields

Ruth edited this page Feb 19, 2019 · 20 revisions

The 300 fields describe the physical characteristics, intellectual characteristics (e.g. musical key), digital characteristics, publication frequency, etc., of the materials being described. We will use these for display. There are certain things which might be good for facets, e.g. Form of Work or Musical Key. But we don't have enough data in these fields to facet.

  • Display only (not indexing/boosting)
  • Not a facet
