Kickoff New Stuff

This page collects tools to help us start working on something we haven't seen before.

The main operational problem when kickstarting something new is that we don't have a shared understanding, so we have to build it up from scratch.

There's also the lack of a shared view or plan to follow. We need to build it up as well.

So the best way to proceed is to iterate over gathering Shared Understanding and build up a Shared View.

The tools we have to build up a Shared Understanding are:

• Mob programming sessions
• Mob learning sessions

The tools we have to build up a Shared Plan:

• Write Architecture overview upfront.
• Write Developer Documentation altogether.
• Document the decisions we make.
