mbrubeck: Transferring over from Metro firefox. Both landed and had a patch backed out.

larsberg: changed over to static linking, on android with cross-compile there are ICE's and other issues. will open issues and recreate dynamic linking support through all dependencies. should take a day or two. don't see any new android bugs, however.

larsberg: tables PR - new one?
jdm: Just a rebase.
larsberg: I'll review the critic stuff
pcwalton: Great! I'll pull that in and have that branch ready for review today. I did half of the position:fixed stuff over the weekend. We have multiple layers support. I reworked because it was bogus, but it's a hard problem with iframes in multiple threads.
jdm: There's also a PR for pseudoelements (a beginning one). Very different than it was before because they're doing it without false DOM nodes - all flow-based. Looks like there's a lot of semi-redundant code. pcwalton, if you could give some concrete feedback, that would be great.
pcwalton: Yes, I will look into it after this. We should be parallelilzing it as much as possible.
pcwalton: Three things left: fixed, generated content, and tables. I've gotten everything else. My stuff needs review, though. Should have everything in PR form, but there may be bugs in tables because it's edge cases. Hopefully pseudo elements will just work. There may be tables bugs, but we'll try to land it as soon as we can to try to iron out the bugs. As soon as it lands, I can hopefully submit my branch (pulling in the tables work). Then just land generated content and we should pass.

larsberg: Can we hold off on the Rust upgrade until after Friday's demo?
jdm: Sure. We've already merged a bunch of submodules which may complicate things for other people.
pcwalton: I have no submodule changes. I wanted to redo layers, but I'm not going to right now. Keegan, since you're looking at generated content, can you look at the review?
kmc: Yes, I can do that today.

brson: Do we have cake scheduled?
pcwalton: Just been focusing on deserving it. But we can order it. We can ping azita.
larsberg: Historical note, pcwalton got azita to order a gigantic ACID1 cake. We should do the same once we pass ACID2.
