Unknown Game Issue
When using the itch.io integration, some games appear in the Galaxy library as "Unknown Game".
In our current understanding, when an integration passes information about a game to Galaxy, Galaxy pulls information about that game from GoG's database in order to display it in the library. One benefit of this system is that it allows for game stacking across platforms, as GoG's database keeps track of what games are listed as on different platforms. Unfortunately, in its current implementation, if Galaxy does not find the game in GoG's database, it will display the game as "Unknown Game" even if the integration provided a title for the game.
Ideally, Galaxy could change its approach to address this issue. In the mean time, users can help by improving IGDB which seems to be a data source for GoG's database. Games added to IGDB typically show up in Galaxy in the 24-48 hours.
