In Nov 2010, WTDK had 170,000 visits and 2421 requests.

Accordingly, most of the traffic is viewing old requests. We have accumulated approaching 60,000 requests since launch.

In the period 10 Dec 2010 - 11 Jan 2011, 45% of traffic was from search engines, 33% direct, 22% referrals.

Of the search engine referrals, 6% were for phrases like "whatdotheyknow", 2% for phrases like "foi" of "freedom of information", and the rest were long-tail type queries about peregrine falcon nests and Ellesmere port council (nearly 2% were related to post offices or post boxes).

Of the referrals, 52% were from Twitter. The second highest referrer was the BBC at 5%.

The site bounce rate is 69% for website referrals, 65% for search engine referrals, and 58% for direct access.

The 60,000 requests have resulted in about 19Gb of data across 66,000 documents. Document type breaks down as follows:
