While in a lot of cases the emoji-based loading indicators look great, I think in some configurations they can look a bit out of place (and some terminals render emoji characters weirdly)
Adding a
--disable-emoji
flag would provide an alternative, while also looking nicer than just plain output with no loading spinners.Due to the structure, adding this flag requires changing function calls in quite a few places, which might not be worth it. Please let me know if there are any cleaner ways to pass the args through that I'm not aware of
