I think the only way to merge this update is to upgrade this older injectPlugin.js script to an ES module and swap the require("../scripts/injectPlugin") statement with an import statement. This would likely involve removing all require statements. Seems like it's something docusaurus has been late in solving as there are many question on GitHub around it. Here is a good example. Their solution as of 2022 was to hack the docusaurus.config.js with dynamic imports.
