List of Graphics Teams in News

What is this list?

Visual journalists, graphics reporters or however they call themselves are doing an amazing job in creating compelling visual storytelling around the world. This list focuses not on their projects, but on the teams: How do they work? Who works in which team?

Why do we need that?

To learn from each other. Lots of graphics people gave/give amazing insights into their work; in talks or blog posts or daily on Twitter. Let’s compile this potential.
To get to know the smaller newsrooms. We know the big player; but what happens outside of the US or the UK? Let’s get inspired by their work.

How can I contribute?

If you add people, please make sure that they are ok with being added, if they don’t explicitly state their employer in their Twitter bio. If they don’t have Twitter, check their website/blog.

What information should I add?

Name of the team that creates charts / graphics / data vis. The list is currently sorted alphabetically. Maybe we’ll switch to a sorting by number of people later.
Location and links to Twitter / Website / Blog / Github
Links to specific blog posts / videos / interviews that show how the team is working. Links should give insight into the process of past projects, general principles and approaches to problems, how tools are used etc.
Team members and links to their Twitter account who currently create charts / graphics / data vis in these news rooms on a regular basis. Alumni should not be on this list (although I’m open to discussing that). Interns and fellows should not be added, since it's likely that we forget to remove them.
