jdk 11 runtime and enum change. Code changes to come up to java 11 support level will be also applied. This is expected to be a short lived effort as we plan to move to java 17 but given we generally seem to release items that need fix-ups we are going to move up the hill slowly so we can patch related issues as they arise.

We expect 4.x to remain for java 8 and continue getting fixes until no reports of existing issues.
We expect 5.x to include anything from 4.x but anything related to the only current 2 items noted that have work done to apply as well as expected java 11 cleanup.
We will start work on 6.x right after for java 17 and do much of the same.
