A barebones Node.js app using Express 4.
Make sure you have Node.js and the Heroku Toolbelt installed.
$ git clone git@github.com:heroku/node-js-getting-started.git # or clone your own fork
$ cd node-js-getting-started

$ npm start
Your app should now be running on localhost:5000.
Alternatively, you can use Vagrant to create a VM with node set up for you.
$ vagrant up
$ vagrant ssh
$ cd /vagrant
$ npm start
$ heroku create
$ git push heroku master
$ heroku open
