Since we already have an account on OpenCollective, we might as well use it.

I'm not comfortable that we're in a position to take a call on how to handle funding just yet.

Thanks for your feedback, I've deleted my comment in the linked issue. Feel free to close this PR or let it sit here for more opinions 🙂 To @squidfunk and I this seemed like a good temporary solution while we're figuring out how to handle funding more permanently. We also consider it a good permanent solution as it allows redistributing funding to potential contributors in a transparent manner (there's a $3.5K budget on OpenCollective still).
