This issue is tracking fatal errors occuring when trying to catch errors in useAsyncData calls. This must be solved to handle errors when invalid slug is in url, leading to failed requests. Current strategy is to return to this issue after upgrading nuxt major versions to 3.x stable version.

This issue is being tracked by mutiple recent Nuxt discussions/issues.
