I'm Marks Polakovs (they/them)
I'm a Computer Science undergraduate at the University of York. In my spare time I do software development and systems administration for the Computing Teams at @UniversityRadioYork, the UK's oldest independent legal radio station, and @ystv, the UK's oldest student television station, as well as @YorkVision.
- 🛠 I'm primarily interested in back-end and full-stack web development, with most of my experience with React on the front-end and Node.js and Go on the back-end. I'm also an experienced Linux administrator, CI/CD pipeline builder, and network engineer.
- ⌨️ Languages incl. Javascript (Typescript), Go, Python, PHP, and just enough C to be dangerous. Currently on-and-off learning Rust and Kotlin.
- 💬 I'm expecting to graduate with a MEng in Computer Science in the summer of 2024.
