There is a lot of data out there; and lately, cities have been making government data available for the public to read or use however they like. However, it can sometimes be hard to understand what this information even means. DataCity takes one such set of data - namely the energy use of buildings in New York City - and, through calls to NYC OpenData and the Socrata Open Data API, provides it in an understandable and interactive way.
