The majority of the files in this PR are just changing copyright headers and adding READMEs. The semconv packages do have huge additions, but they're almost entirely definitions of constants which appear to be generated from some upstream source (cool) or copied from a previous version (uncool, but hopefully still safe). There's a small amount of parsing/safety code in baggage.go, but it seems fine to me. LGTM.

Figured out the problem here: it hadn't updated all of the otel dependencies (notably missing otel/sdk), and the version mismatches were predictably causing compilation errors. Forcing it to update all of the go.opentelemetry.io dependencies to the same versions seems to fix the issue. |
