Automated cherry pick of #99839: Cleanup portforward streams after their usage #100954
Automated cherry pick of #99839: Cleanup portforward streams after their usage #100954
Conversation
This implements a stream cleanup when using portforwardings. Before applying this patch, the streams []httpstream.Stream within `spdy/connection.go` would fill-up for each streaming request. This could result in heavy memory usage. Now we use the stream identifier to keep track of them and finally remove them again once they're no longer needed. helping with some sig node reviews for 1.18... backport was approved by api-machinery here: this cleanup of these streams looks like a good thing, in cases where "a lot of port forwarding" could OOM nodes with less resources. LGTM |

it's small and patches OK, so I'm ok with backporting just for consistency. |
