I wonder what the secret contents look like. You might have to do something like this if they are base64 encoded and stored as json:

apiVersion: external-secrets.io/v1beta1
kind: ExternalSecret
metadata:
  name: gcs-upload
  namespace: test-pods
spec:
  refreshInterval: 10m
  secretStoreRef:
    kind: ClusterSecretStore
    name: knative-tests
  target:
    creationPolicy: Owner
    template:
      type: Opaque
      engineVersion: v2
      data:
        service-account.json: "{{ .test_account | toString | b64dec}}" # Used by gcsupload decorator
  data:
  - secretKey: test_account
    remoteRef:
      key: prow-google-service-accounts
      property: test_account

We only want to sync secrets in a specific namespace. we should scope this to the namespace.

@upodroid I noticed that sync time for ExternalSecrets is 1 hour. That seems too long, AFAIK, it's 10 seconds for the Prow control plane cluster. Should we reduce that to like 10 minutes at least?

We don't need this SSH key. This is needed for e2e tests on GCP. we may need to create a new key pair on EC2.
