As noted in jenkins-infra/pipeline-library#379 (which took its inspiration from here), if there are more than one next release drafts, this script fails as jq then returns a multiline string.

Sounds right. To be clear, if there is ever more than one next draft release, something is broken. I just hope this helps recover if so.
