This project is a simple honours thesis and conference paper submission that demonstrates that using some basic traffic analysis techniques, Tor traffic can be easily identified. The experiment results have been removed to save space.
The papers here were compiled using the Latex makefile and Xelatex on Mac OS X using the MacTex-2010 distribution which can be found here: http://www.tug.org/mactex/2011/ .
A compiled copy of the paper I submitted to an IEEE conference is available here: https://github.com/downloads/excepttheweasel/tor-detection/paper.pdf . The IEEE generously offered to take my paper and all associated rights for a small fee, I declined.
