Magicly is a super app to help you manage the different aspects of your life: your home, finances, and productivity. The end goal was to build the WeChat for 50+ year olds.

Our mission at Magicly is to make high-quality, easy-to-use software that improves the lives of people in the Longevity Economy.
The Longevity Economy is the segment of people over 50 years old, who represent a very important part of our economy. As seen in AARP and Oxford Economics’ Longevity Economy report, the spending power of those ages 50+ reached $7.6 trillion in 2015 in the US.
Before we decided on the super app, we interviewed over 100 people in the Longevity Economy to gather research on the different pain points they had and solutions they felt they needed. We pitched them apps focused on doing one thing (for example, a finance app) and at the end of the research phase everything pointed to them not wanting "just another app". They are tired of installing an app for this, an app for that, and that's why we decided to build the last app they would ever need. One place to manage their lives.

Magicly's development has been discontinued. We plan on open-sourcing our anonymized user research, findings and learnings in the hopes it might be useful for someone someday.
