How to set up your own pdb instance:

# check out the pdb code
git clone https://github.com/fink/pdb.git
cd pdb
git clone https://github.com/fink/fink.git fink
git clone https://github.com/fink/website.git web

# run solr
cd solr
java -jar start.jar

# (in another terminal) run the indexer (you'll need a bunch of perl mods probably)
./create-finkdb.pl --verbose

# get/start memcached
fink install memcached
/sw/sbin/memcached -d

now, just point your web browser at ${pdb/web root}/pdb and... look at stuff.
