NOTE: in testing, I found that AppCenter eats single newlines, and doesn't handle ampersands cleanly. And \n\t makes a blockquote. This step is encoding the input as-is, so if you want the release notes to look a specific way on AppCenter, you'll need to workaround these idiosyncrasies.
