Other budget item ideas:

  1. Website redesign
  2. Pay people to write blog posts
  3. Have a t-shirt design contest

Agenda item: do we want to continue to support generator-eslint? It hasn’t been updated in a while and there are a bunch of open PRs.

Just to provide some context on the above items (in particular eslint/eslint#14754, eslint/generator-eslint#79), my primary goal with them is to publicize eslint-plugin-eslint-plugin, encourage its adoption among plugin developers, and improve the quality of the overall plugin ecosystem.

After opening the PR to add eslint-plugin-eslint-plugin to generator-eslint, I noticed there were a lot of other basic improvements I could make to generator-eslint to bring it up to modern standards. It seems there are a few hundred downloads a week of this tool (and it is linked to from Working with Plugins), so I figured we should put our best foot forward with it so plugin developers who are still using it can build the best plugins possible. So I'd be happy to do the legwork of getting a new, modern version of generator-eslint out (I've maintained many ESLint plugins so I'm very familiar with this area).
