The UTF-8 module has utilities for UTF-8 character encoding.
$ component install anchorjs/utf8
$ volo add anchorjs/utf8
Encode a JavaScript string to UTF-8.
utf8.encode('JavaScript');Decode a UTF-8 string to a JavaScript string.
utf8.decode('JavaScript')This module uses the AMD format. To include in component builds, use component-amd:
component build -u component-amd
To run tests in a browser, execute the Make target for the desired browser:
$ make test-chrome
$ make test-firefox
$ make test-safari
Headless tests can be executed directly from a terminal:
$ make test-phantomjs
