Customize Edit Dialog Using Templates in Angular Tree Grid

Use this sample to customize the edit dialog UI using templates in the Syncfusion Angular Tree Grid control. In this example, we have added code for Tree Grid modules along with edit settings, a primary key, and toolbar. Project prerequisites

Make sure that you have the compatible versions of TypeScript and Angular on your machine before starting to work on this project.

  • Angular 4+
  • TypeScript 2.6+

How to run this application

To run this application, you need to first clone the Customize-Edit-Dialog-Using-Templates-in-Angular-Tree-Grid repository and then navigate to the path where it is located in your system.

To do so, open the command prompt and run the following commands.

git clone https://github.com/SyncfusionExamples/Customize-Edit-Dialog-Using-Templates-in-Angular-Tree-Grid treegrid-example
cd treegrid-example

Installing

Once done with downloading, you need to install the necessary packages required to run this application locally. The npm install command will install all the needed Angular packages in your current project. To do this, run the following command.

npm install

Running on development server

Run the ng serve command for a dev server. Navigate to http://localhost:4200/. The app will automatically reload if you change any of the source files.
