To-Do App Installation Guide

To install the To-Do App on your local machine, follow these steps:

  1. Clone the repository from GitHub. Repo: https://github.com/SoummoSinghoRoy/todo-assessment.git
  2. Install Node.js, MongoDB and MongoDB Compass on your machine, if you haven't already. Or you can use mongodb atlas. And define your custom environment variable. Must Follow default.env
  3. Navigate to the project directory in your terminal.
  4. This project is divided by two sagement one is client and another is server.
  5. Run npm install to install the project dependencies.
  6. So you have to install dependencies in 2 steps.
  7. When you navigate this project in your terminal and use npm install. All server dependency will be installed first.
  8. Next you have to install client dependency so you should have to navigate client directory then use npm install.
  9. Run npm start to start the application.
  10. Run npm run dev to start the dev server.

That's it! The To-Do App should now be running on your local machine.
