This is a version of the Student Connect App for Wichita State University. The app is written in AngularJS, Bootstrap, and Python and powered by Google App Engine.

To run the app
- Go to Google Cloud Playground.
- Copy the repo url https://github.com/JoeyBoolean/App-Engine-Student-Connect into the import new project bar.
- Click open project then run.
The Student Connect app is a social network app that allows Wichita State students to contact their fellow classmates quickly and easily through their smartphones. The app will have an option for uploading a profile picture along with additional user information with the ability to be viewed publicly by their classmates. Only Wichita State students can register to use the app with a valid wichita.edu email address. Users will enter the class registration numbers for their classes and will then be able to send messages to that class. Students who use this app will be able to see a feed of messages sent to their classes via their home page. This app will serve as a mechanism for communication for Wichita State students that more closely mirrors current communication methods employed by the younger generation.
More features will be added if time permits but these are the core features we plan to include in the app for the initial version.
