LessWrong is exploring whether we want to integrate more sophisticated recommendation algorithms into the site. Starting with the hardest most important application, we're seeing how well we can do on a latest posts replacement.
We're trying out the SaaS recommendation engine, Recombee (https://www.recombee.com/). This gives LW admins a drop-down selector on our Latest Posts to select between classic feed (HackerNews) and a variety of Recombee models.
┆Issue is synchronized with this Asana task by Unito
