React Talking Drum

The talking drum is an hourglass-shaped drum from West Africa, whose pitch can be regulated to mimic the tone and prosody of human speech. It has two drumheads connected by leather tension cords, which allow the player to modulate the pitch of the drum by squeezing the cords between their arm and body.

Introduction

React talking drum is a simple talking drum keyboard that plays different talking drum sounds when different keyboard keys are pressed.

Getting started with the project

• To run the app locally, have node.js installed
• Clone the repo git clone https://github.com/DarkSeidNG/react-talking-drum.git
• Navigate to the react-talking-drum directory
• Run npm install to install all dependencies
• Run npm start to run the application
• To run tests - Run npm test
