The
uuidpackage hasn't had the featurewasm-bindgensince uuid-rs/uuid#536, in which it was renamed tojs, but using it continues to work onwasm32-unknown-unknownbecause it accidentally activates the optionalwasm-bindgendependency that is only available on that platform.
