Welcome to the 18F UX Guide Wiki!

We will use this wiki to share information about the UX Guide. The primary audience for the wiki is the 18F team who maintains the site day-to-day. 18F folks working on this might also want to check out this README (18F only) that explains a bit more about how we're managing work across multiple products.

If you’re interested in editing or adding something to the guide, start at Contributing. That’s our primary source of guidance for adding to this project.

UX Guide content vision

Our content helps 18F teams understand and apply our design research best practices. It also helps people who are interested and involved in civic tech learn how 18F works. To make it easier for them to do so, our content should be clear, comprehensive, current, and actionable.

We seek to make our audiences feel confident and knowledgeable so that they will apply 18F design methods in their work and collaborate productively on design research. When they do, we will achieve improved public services, better technology, and better 18F partnerships.
