Not sure, there is no barcode or example here, nor is it clear what you mean there are chars before the text in a barcode. Maybe your decoder is not interpreting the control chars |

Hi I'm trying to create a simple PDF417 (Android) but there are some characters before the main text like "A" or "A". What does this mean and how to fix it? The hints are set to UTF-8.
