How can I get the trigger/type (-, *, or a +) of a ListItem?

When parsing the ListItem I want/need to distinguish if the list item is a -, *, or a +.

How would I get that?

		tasks := make(map[string]struct{})
		ast.Walk(doc, func(node ast.Node, enter bool) (ast.WalkStatus, error) {

			if n, ok := node.(*ast.ListItem); ok && enter {
				var task bytes.Buffer
				item := n.FirstChild().(*ast.TextBlock)
				lines := item.Lines()
				for i := 0; i < lines.Len(); i++ {
					line := lines.At(i)
					task.Write(line.Value(data))
				}
				tasks[task.String()] = struct{}{}
			}
[...]
               }

The lines give me the content but not the trigger/list item type

Well... I can do something like this I guess

line := lines.At(i)
// this is a hacky workaround to retrieve the character
// of the the list
// the user can break this "parsing logic" by having
// multiple whitespace character after the bullet point
// we only do this for the first line in the block
if i == 0 {
	line.Start = line.Start - 2
}
task.Write(line.Value(data))

That way the bullet character is also part of the task string. I can then do some further processing in some method. But as said in the comment, this can be broken by the user by having multiple whitepspaces between the "bullet" point (the trigger char) and the actual text.

Ah. The parent List holds the marker, not each individual ListItem
