Private associated function error from html! expansion

I need some help working out how to diagnose what I've done wrong with the visibility of some code in my nascent yew project. I restructured a working demo app that had several components in one module (the top-level lib.rs) into a structure like this:

However, I've now got a compilation error I don't really know how to dig into:

I did a cargo expand and got hit with a wall of expanded code that I couldn't really make head nor tail of, excepting that I could see the offending build function.

I tried a cargo rustc -- -Z macro-backtrace and did get a backtrace, but that was none too helpful either.

I've also tried arbitrarily setting pub on a whole bunch of things that I don't think need to be, and I managed to get a slightly different error message (note the additional error in nav_bar.rs):

After doing some trawling through the yew source to understand a bit about what it was trying to do and going back and poking my code, I've fixed it. To my layman's mind, the solutions were as follows:

The first issue was indeed some attributes of my Properties struct not being pub, which is why when I made them pub I got a different error message. However, the second issue was that I had missed passing a property from a high-level component to a lower-level component.

I'm enjoying working with this framework, so thank you for making it! It might be worth noting these errors were a headache for me as a complete novice.

This is due to #1004. It's a current limitation with the proc-macro approach that Yew uses
