Hello,
I would like to disable trailing alerts for markdown files. I am not good at VimScript and after some goolging i found an old issue saying that these two commands in the vimrc do the job:
I tried and indeed it works. However, I just can't understand why.
This is what I understand: "For all file types, unlet! the g:airline#extensions#whitespace#checks dictionary"
But I do not understand what the exclamation mark means and also why we should clear the dictionary for all files. In my opinion, clearing the dictionary includes clearing the enabled value and so disable the chck for all files ? Am I wrong ?
The second like is more logical for me, put the indent in the dictionary only for markdown files.
Is there some VimScript guru who could help ?
Thank you
