Describe your motivation

I'd like to show a short version of the text displayed inside each chip when the combo has not enough space available.

Describe the solution you'd like

I'd like to be able to show the chip text shortened with ellipsis (...) at the end of the text display when only one item is selected as an alternative to the regular overflow behaviour.

This is the situation to be solved. I'd like to have an alternative to this overflow behaviour.
