USWDS-Site - Feature: official loading indicator

This is not a problem but rather a missing feature we feel should be a part of USWDS.

Describe the solution you'd like

We'd like to request an official USWDS Loading Indicator animated icon, probably an animated SVG. It would be very useful to have a US Gov approved loading indicator.

Describe alternatives you've considered

We've used 3rd party loading indicators, or rolled our own. However, it would be great to have something more Gov approved and official with accessibility features included.

Hi @fmaddenflx - apologies for the delay here, I somehow missed this notification! Thanks for confirming this fits. And you're right, there is not currently much movement on the Spinner proposal. We're actively working on processes surrounding component proposals to hopefully make the process clearer. For now, I'm going to close this Issue and add a link to it in the Spinner discussion.
