Tuist test command for workspace uses My Mac platform that is wrong

Hi!
I am trying to run all my unit test under the workspace by command

tuist test --destination simulator --os 15 --rosetta My-Workspace

However, I get errors like:

Cannot test target “MyFoundationTests” on “My Mac”: MyFoundationTests does not support My Mac’s platform: com.apple.platform.macosx

All goes well if I run test for each scheme (project) separately, it uses simulator

So I have two questions:

1. Why does test for workspace uses My Mac platform in spite of simulator is specified as destination/ What do I miss?
2. I can't manage to run tests on specific ios simulator. How can I run test on iPhone X 16.0 simulator f.i. ?

This sounds like a bug in the tuist test command. Would it be possible to create an issue with a reproducible sample? Can you double check you don't support macOS? You should also be able to specify the platform via --platform ios.

You can run tuist test --device "iPhone X to test on a specific device.

I tried to specify device but no success

I run command below to run test on simulator with concrete device but get error device not found

tuist test --destination simulator --os 15 --rosetta --device "iPhone 6s (iOS 15.0)" MyTestScheme

Error:
Could not find a suitable device for iOS, device name iPhone 6s (iOS 15.0). I can have a look if you create an issue with reproduction steps 🙏 In the meantime, you can fallback to xcodebuild but you will miss out on selective testing.

Another problem is working with test plan.
I did set testplan for scheme in manifest file and specified it in tuist test command. However, I got error that there is no buildable targets. No idea what does it mean.

When running into issues, I'd recommend to create a GitHub issue with a reproducible project and the steps that we need to follow to reproduce the issue. Would you mind doing it for this problem too?
