support of the TWIRP, a gRPC simplification, which works over HTTP1.1 and also supports standardized JSON fallback, would be a very complementary improvement for tower-grpc/-web.

right now there is only one rust implementation of twirp available (prost-twirp), which is unfortunatly unmaintained/outdated and featurewise incomplete (no json fallback support)
