Kreeti is doing a good job with kt-paperclip. I'd like to suggest to Thoughtbot folks to transfer ownership of the gem to them, and release the first new version as paperclip 7.0.0.

Please consider that there are many third party gems that enhance paperclip. In my project for example, I have delayed-paperclip and mongoid-paperclip. Even though I installed kt-paperclip, these gems still load the old paperclip as a dependency, creating a namespace kludge.

(I'm not affiliated with Kreeti in any way, just a dude using Paperclip and want to see it maintained, esp. in light of the recent mimemagic debacle.)

@mike-burns pinging on this. Seems there's a lot of upvotes to do this, and it would make life easier for all of us still using Paperclip.
