Provides sanitizations/validations for characters that can be used in file names but have special meaning in the shell.

Sanitization choices:

  • NONE: keep those special characters as it is
  • REMOVE: remove special characters
  • REPLACE
  • SHELL_ESCAPE: replace special characters with words
