Error handling upon authentication credentials missing

First: I love the client!

If somehow possible it would be great if the client could display authentication errors. I forgot to add uname and pwd to the bitcoind connection string and the only message I see is:

thread 'main' panicked at 'failed to create bitcoin wallet: JSON Rpc Client: 

Caused by:

Potentially this is not easily possible, because bitcoind does not return with a specific error. I have not looked into it 😬
