  • Upgrade to latest version of amplify
  • Upgrade to latest version of expo
  • Associated fixes with new Expo version
  • Transition to build with new EAS (Expo build system)
  • Transition to deploy with new EAS (Expo deploy system)
  • Re-run amplify notifications update
  • Ensure keys are correct for amplify
  • Ensure apps are using correct config for notifications
  • Verify Pinpoint can identify users on iOS
  • Verify Pinpoint can identify users on Android
  • Verify Notification can be seen by iOS
  • Verify Notification can be seen by Android

The current build process is about 2-3 hours, and then there is about a 1 hour approval process for iOS/Android before it shows up on device....that's essentially what is taking so long in testing this and getting it working...it can't be tested in DEV unfortunately...
