I edited the real time be more clear.

The problem that I have is handling metrics for services with several thousands instances.

Let’s say that I want to have the total rate of requests for the whole service (around 2000 instances) by endpoints (100 for example).

Each query will have to yield 100*2000 metrics (which is not fast nor efficient)
